The cooling system is often one of the most over looked sections of your car. This system has change drastically over the years with the changes in several types of coolant, and the ever more important control of things by the computer. It is very important to service the cooling system as scheduled usually every 2 years.

There are many different types of antifreezes now, not just the green antifreeze. Mixing or installing the wrong antifreeze in a vehicle can cause damage to vehicle components. You must check and install the recommend coolant suggested by the manufacture, different vehicles take different coolant.

Proper cooling system maintenance every 2 years reduces corrosion, which can rot out radiators and heater cores, reduces electrolysis and voltage causes problems with computer sensors.  All of which can cause overheating or vehicle performance problems. These problems are more costly to repair than proper service of the cooling system.
